Husson University offers fourteen varsity sports as a member of the NCAA Division III and North Atlantic Conference. More than 300 student-athletes participate in intercollegiate athletics at Husson.

Enrollment: 2,800 Undergraduate Students; 400 Graduate Students


Varsity Sports: Baseball, Women’s Basketball, Men’s Basketball, Women’s Cross Country, Men’s Golf, Field Hockey, Football, Women’s Lacrosse, Men’s Lacrosse, Women’s Soccer, Men’s Soccer, Softball, Women’s Swimming, and Volleyball.

The North Atlantic Conference’s mission is to provide member institutions with broad based conference schedules, conference championships, and access to NCAA postseason competition. Consistent with the NCAA Division III philosophy, a basic purpose of this conference is to maintain intercollegiate athletics as an integral part of the educational experience, with the student-athlete as an integral part of the student body.


NAC members include Castleton, Green Mountian, Husson, Johnson State, Lyndon State, Maine Farmington, Maine Maritime, Thomas. Colby-Sawyer and New England College will join the NAC in the 2011-2012 academic year.
