Beginning with the 2011 Football season, Husson University will begin charging admission to all home football and men's and women's basketball contests. Tickets will be sold for $3 to children age 10-18, and $5 for adults; children under the age of 10 and Seniors over 55 get in for free. Ticket sales will begin 2 hours before the scheduled start of each event.
Free access to the games will still be offered to all Husson University and NESCom students, faculty and staff through a special gate with a valid ID. As an added bonus for families of Husson Athletes, all members of the varsity squad will receive a pair of free passes that can be left at the will-call booth. Those tickets are reserved for the players' choosing, and anyone on that list must be prepared to show valid identification in order to gain entry to the event.
The new policy will go into effect beginning on Friday, September 2nd when the Husson Football team opens up their season with a 7:00 pm home contest against Adrian College of Michigan. Tickets go on sale at 5:00 pm.
